AIF, one of the largest business advocacy groups in the state, says Diaz will help move Florida’s economy forward.

Today, the Manny Diaz Campaign announced the endorsement of the Associated Industries of Florida (AIF) Political Action Committee. AIF is one of the state’s leading business advocacy organizations. Diaz, first elected in 2012, is seeking re-election to the District 103 seat in the Florida House of Representatives.

“After thorough review of all the candidates, we believe these candidates are the best and brightest to help propel Florida’s business community forward,” said AIF President and CEO Tom Feeney in announcing the list of their endorsed candidates. “Each candidate showcased their commitment to safeguard Florida’s employers and employees, grow our economy and job base, and continue to develop innovative ways to entice new business to the Sunshine State. We encourage Florida voters and our membership to join us in supporting these good candidates in their respective races.”

Founded in 1920, AIF is known as the “Voice of Florida Business.” It represents the interest of its diverse membership to all three branches of Florida government. AIF’s goal is to foster an economic climate in Florida that is conducive to the growth, development, and welfare of industry and business and the people of the state.”

“AIF’s support is an honor,” said Diaz. “I appreciate their endorsement, and I look forward to working with them to strengthen Florida’s economy and make it easier for businesses to grow and put more people to work.”
