The South Florida Council of Fire Fighters is backing Diaz’s re-election bid because he will honorably serve Florida’s citizens and the men and women who work in fire service.

Today, the Manny Diaz Campaign announced the endorsement of the South Florida Council of Fire Fighters (SFCFF). Diaz is seeking a third term in the Florida House of Representatives. He has represented District 103 since 2012.

“I am honored to have the support of the SFCFF,” said Diaz. “These brave men and women work extremely hard and put their lives on the line to keep our families and communities safe. I look forward to working with them to make sure that public safety is a high priority in Tallahassee and that they can continue the great job they are doing protecting life and property in our area.”

SFCFF represents approximately 3,500 fire fighters and their families in South Florida. The Council is made up of the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) organizations in Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties, which include Coral Gables, Hialeah, Key Biscayne, Key West, Marathon, Miami, Miami Beach, Miami-Dade, and Monroe County fire fighters.
